UX project overview
Objective - to redesign the donation pod, Make a user friendly solution. Users would like to interact with both single and monthly tabs. We would like users to have quick journey and quick payments. Introduce payment options to user, Apple pay, paypal and google pay. The donation pod must appear before the fold line view for users to interact with component. Current donation pod was appearing below the fold line view. Analytics results convey that users where missing the donation pod and directing to other places on thew site. Most users where missing the donation CTA button and looping around the website. I worked with Developers and product manager to create a solution which will increase conversion rates for users using the donation pod. We decide to conduct a UX A B test for the Donation pod with two final designs. We also conducted a user testing both remote and real users. We found out from real user testing some users were not clicking much on the monthly tab. Users were missing the monthly tab and being directed to the single tab and payments. We decided that the design needed a little change of colours from the results. We decided to design another version which difficiated the colours and made it easy for users to understand which tab they were clicking on and which tabs apply for monthly and single. Ideally the aim was to make more users click on the monthly tab.The new design was sucessful and increase the conversion rates.
